1. The School of Aeronautical Science and Engineering is the leading school of the first-class discipline of Aerospace Science and Technology of Beihang University. Formerly known as the Aircraft Department, it was founded in 1952, and its first president was Academician Tu Shouhua, a meritorious scientist with "two bombs and one satellite".
