Brief Introduction of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University
School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University was founded in 1960. The agricultural engineering discipline of Mechanical and Electrical College of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and Ministry of Personnel as the first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization point and postdoctoral research mobile station respectively. Agricultural mechanization engineering, agricultural electrification and automation, agricultural bio-environment and energy engineering have the right to confer doctoral degrees, and postdoctoral research mobile stations have now begun to work. Agricultural mechanization engineering, agricultural electrification and automation, agricultural bio-environment and energy engineering and mechanical design and theory have the right to grant master's degrees. At the same time, agricultural engineering also has the right to grant master's degrees. Agricultural mechanization engineering is also an authorized subject for master of agricultural extension and college teachers to study for master's degree in service. In addition, agricultural mechanization engineering is a key discipline in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and a brand specialty in the region. The college has six undergraduate majors: agricultural mechanization and automation, mechanical design and manufacture and automation, industrial design, agricultural electrification and automation, electrical control and automation engineering and traffic engineering. At the same time, it also has three majors: automobile maintenance and testing technology, mechatronics and mechanical equipment and automation.
