China Youshi University (Beijing) has one school and two places (Beijing and Karamay). Headquartered in the south foot of the scenic Du Jun, the campus covers an area of more than 700 mu. Karamay Campus is located in Karamay City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, covering an area of more than 7,000 mu. The school is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education with distinctive petroleum characteristics, industry-oriented and multi-disciplinary coordinated development, and is one of the universities with graduate schools.

The school is one of the first universities to enter the national "2 1 1 Project". In 2006, it became a national "innovation platform for superior disciplines" project to build colleges and universities. In 20 17, the school entered the ranks of national first-class discipline construction universities.
