He was an officer she trusted, but he betrayed her and murdered her on the orders of King Philip II of Spain.

The Spanish king wanted to avoid paying off the huge debt of the former Polish queen, and Jane Matko poisoned Queen Bona.

She died on1557165438+10/9 at the age of 63.
