Nova southeastern university's school history
Southeast Nova University, founded in 1964, is a private comprehensive research university. The main campus is in David, only 39 kilometers away from downtown Miami. There are eight branches in Florida. When the school was founded, it was called Nova University of Advanced Science and Technology. At the beginning, only master's and doctor's degrees in psychology and sociology were provided for senior researchers. 197 1 was donated by Leo Goodwin, the founder of American GECO company, in/and it developed rapidly. 1994 merged with the School of Health Sciences of Southeast University and began to accept undergraduates. Eventually formed the present name, nova southeastern university. Because the undergraduate school was founded late, the master's and doctoral schools of Southeast Nova University developed relatively well. The number of masters and doctoral students also exceeds that of undergraduates, which is relatively rare in the United States. According to the statistical report of 20 12, there are 22,060 doctors and masters and 6,397 undergraduates in Southeast Xinxing University.
