Suzhou University has three colleges of applied technology, but it is the second batch of undergraduate enrollment in Jiangsu, so it can be considered as two colleges in Jiangsu Province.

The College of Applied Technology of Soochow University is located in Zhouzhuang, Kunshan, the first water town in China, 20 kilometers away from Dushu Lake Campus of Soochow University, and adjacent to Suzhou Industrial Park, Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Overseas Chinese International Business City and Wujiang High-tech Development Zone.

The campus has beautiful environment, fresh air and first-class facilities, which embodies the architectural style of "Small Bridge and Running Water Academy" and is an ideal place for students to study.

The college was established in June 1997 1 1, and was listed in the first batch of colleges and universities by the national "2 1 1 project" and "201/plan". The Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province have built Suzhou into a "double-class" university. The college has 32 undergraduate majors with nearly 9,000 students. More than 60% teachers have senior titles in various courses, and more than 80% are double-qualified professional teachers.
