South China University of Technology, referred to as South China University of Technology, is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. It is a national key university determined by the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. Ranked in the national first-class project, 2 1 1 project and 985 project, and selected into the discipline innovation and intelligence introduction plan of colleges and universities and the education and training plan of outstanding engineers.
South China University of Technology, formerly known as South China University of Technology, can be traced back to a class of industrial schools in Guangdong Province, and was established in 19 1952. 1952 was formally established, and was transferred to Hunan University, Zhonghua University in Wuchang, Wuhan Jiaotong University and Guangdong Institute of Technology on the basis of engineering departments and majors of Sun Yat-sen University, South China United University Institute of Technology and Lingnan University Institute of Technology.
1960 became a national key university; 1988 was renamed South China University of Technology. The school is divided into three campuses. Wushan Campus is located in Shipai College District, Tianhe District. The University Town Campus is located in Guangzhou University Town, Panyu District; Guangzhou International Campus is located in Innovation City, Panyu District.
