The origin of the National Zhou Peiyuan College Students' Mechanics Competition: In China in the 1980s, everything was abandoned, but the fault of the scientific and technological team and the lack of talents restricted the development of science and technology. It is the call of the times to revitalize education and cultivate a new generation of high-quality innovative talents. In this context, the national college students' mechanics competition began to brew. From 1992 to the second to fifth competition in 2004, it can be regarded as the second stage of the development of this competition. In order to encourage young students to learn the dedication of the older generation of scientists to science, this competition was renamed as "National Zhou Peiyuan College Students' Mechanics Competition" from the third session 1996.
