Suit and tie for interview = value? You are wrong!

I majored in finance in college, so when I was applying for a job in my senior year, it was normal for me to see that boys in my class wore suits and ties and girls wore professional clothes. But in my later job-hunting experience, I also saw many people in the media industry wearing suits and ties to interview, which often gave me the feeling that they were too formal and some were too hard.

You know, the interview doesn't have to be a suit or a professional suit, sometimes it's too professional. Especially many fresh graduates, because of lack of money, buy a suit of 100 from a treasure or farmer's market. This ill-fitting or poor-quality suit can easily be dressed like an insurance salesman or KTV waiter.

So what should I wear to the interview? First of all, how to dress depends on the industry and position of the company you are interviewing for. Just like you apply for the financial industry, it is great to wear professional clothes or suits, but if you apply for technical positions in ordinary private enterprises, it is not appropriate to dress like this.

Is it important to dress for the interview? This is very important, but more importantly, your interview dress should make you look trustworthy.

There is nothing wrong with "copying gourd" Before the interview, you can go to the company you want to interview, see what their employees wear to work, and then copy their clothes. It's not that one family doesn't enter one family. If you want to get the offer smoothly, you have to make the interviewer feel that you are one of us. Of course, in order to show the seriousness of the interview, your dress can be more "hard" and "serious" than the daily dress of employees in this company.

At the same time, it should be noted that the dress of the interview is more important than good-looking, and it is enough to be clean, concise and generous, so you don't have to blindly pursue good-looking. Please remember: the clothes for the interview are not for yourself, but for the other party. Your clothes are to form an idea of "who are you", and your clothes will also show your attitude towards this matter intuitively. Therefore, in addition to being decent, it is decent.

In order to show a certain professionalism, the interview dress should avoid large areas of bright colors, so it is best to use neutral colors for tops, pants or skirts. Neutral color refers to a series of shades of gray, including black, white and black and white. Black, white and gray are commonly used neutral colors, and the earth color system and blue with low saturation also belong to this category.

Besides solid colors, you can also choose pinstripes and small squares. Remember not to choose big flowers, wave points, big squares and other elements.

We also need to pay attention to the choice of fabrics, try to choose good-looking and crisp materials, and don't easily choose clothes made of chiffon, cotton and linen, because it will easily make people look listless.

If you are a boy, you can choose a POLO shirt or shirt with casual pants or trousers in spring and summer, and a shirt with a simple sweater or suit jacket with casual pants in autumn and winter. If you are a girl, you can choose a shirt with a miniskirt or trousers in spring and summer, or a dress (not too tight or too short). Just put on a warm coat in autumn and winter.

According to my own observation experience and some HR sharing, I think the most suitable interview dress is more formal than the company's daily dress, and the formal and casual style will be more pleasing.

For example, a black dress+beige suit jacket is not as oppressive as black, but it also makes people feel very professional.

If you think it's a little stiff to button all your shirts, it's ok to open one or two buttons.

Because it is an interview, some accessories should be reduced as much as possible, even if you want to wear more than three. It should be noted that watches are also considered as one of the accessories.

Pairing bags and shoes should also be simple in style, and avoid carrying big-name bags or wearing them to the interview.

At the same time, pay attention to details. Clean hair sideburns, flat shirts, spotless neckline and cuff edges, clean shoes may be noticed by sharp-eyed interviewers, and the perfection of details deserves respect and appreciation. ?
