Personal profile
Yin Baokang,1born in February, 936, was born in Hefei, Anhui. When he was a child, he studied painting with a painter who studied in Japan and often borrowed English watercolor pages brought back from Japan by the painter. Since then, he has been painting watercolors by himself. After entering junior high school, he has become an art teacher's right-hand man. From 65438 to 0952, he entered Wuchang Art Normal School and was carefully cultivated by Chinese painting and watercolor painters Zhao Hezhen and Yang Anguo. When I graduated, I was directly recommended to apply for further study in normal colleges. 1955 during the college entrance examination, Mr. Lv Sibai, a famous painter studying in France, came to Wuhan to enroll students and was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of Northwest Normal University. During my study in school, I won the All-Excellent Award for my excellent academic performance, and was kept in school to teach. 1957 to 1970 During my work in Gansu, I taught in Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou Art College and Fine Arts Department of Gansu Normal University successively, and served as the teaching assistants of Mr. Lv Sibai, Mr. Chang Shuhong and Mr. Liu Wenqing successively. His professional ability and teaching level have been greatly improved, laying a good foundation for future development. 1970 transferred to work in Hunan, taught in the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Normal University, and served as the head of the Fine Arts Department for many years.
He used to be the director of the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Normal University, the executive director of Hunan Artists Association, and the vice president of Hunan Fine Arts Education Research Association. He is currently a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Hunan Normal University, a member of China Artists Association, a director of China Watercolor Painters Association and a consultant of Hunan Watercolor Art Committee.
Art and education
Engaged in art teaching and organization in colleges and universities for 50 years, mainly teaching watercolor painting, good at watercolor painting and in-depth research. 1980 was entrusted by the Ministry of Education to draft the Watercolor Teaching Outline for Normal Universities, and it was tried out in normal universities in China through the Changsha Conference. So far, I have organized and participated in the compilation of watercolor teaching materials for fine arts majors in normal universities, gouache for fine arts majors in satellite TV education, and compiled Watercolor Teaching and New Watercolor Teaching. Some work has been done to promote watercolor teaching in normal universities and improve the quality of watercolor teaching.
For a long time, while teaching, we have always adhered to the creation and research of watercolor painting, attached importance to the study and reference of excellent painting techniques at home and abroad, and used them flexibly according to the needs of performance. Generally speaking, his watercolor paintings in northwest China mostly adopt the multi-layer drying and overlapping watercolor painting method in Britain. After returning to South China, his works often use wet dyeing and overlapping dyeing, which is similar to China's ink painting. The flexible use of different techniques shows different regions, environments, tastes and emotions more truly and vividly, giving people a special artistic aesthetic feeling and enjoyment. His works absorbed the advantages of China's paintings, explored the beauty of life and nature, and formed a simple, vigorous and vigorous painting style, which was loved by everyone. His works, Han Christina Qi, Young Ducks Warm in Spring, On the Transition, Street Scent, Rainy Night, Fruit in Copper Pot, Fresh Orange at Home and Gallery under the Shelf, were selected for the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th national art exhibitions, as well as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 10th national art exhibitions. Dozens of works were selected for the China Watercolor Exhibition and exhibited in Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States. Looking at the Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen was exhibited in the second Asian Art Exhibition, three works, Xinjiang Melon and Fruit, Mingsha Mountain Foothill and Sunset in Southern Anhui Mountain Village, were exhibited in the Asian Watercolor Alliance Exhibition, and many works, such as Xiongguan Fengyun, were exhibited. History of Watercolor in China, History of Watercolor in China and Complete Works of Modern Fine Arts in China (Watercolor Volume) have all been published, and personal paintings have been published 10 Yu Ben.

Criticism of art
His works all come from the most vivid direct perception of life and are full of his true feelings. He doesn't follow the fashion, follow the trend, and never let go of the surface effect of watercolor. He devoted himself to describing his inner feelings calmly and carefully, and tried to truly express the objects he described. Therefore, his artistic techniques have also changed and developed, and his artistic style has naturally gradually recovered, without stagnation, and his artistic quality has also increased. (Director of Watercolor Art Committee of Huang Tieshan China Artists Association)
The great northwest in his works, with the scenery, the Great Wall and the camel bell in the desert as the boundary, leads us to the boundary of the ancient battlefield in Han and Tang Dynasties, which makes people feel nostalgic. What is particularly commendable is that when he was in Wuhan in the 1950s and 1960s, he painted all the former sites such as Wuhan Pass, Snake Mountain, Drum Tower Cave and Hubei Theatre, which were vivid in his mind. After he settled in Changsha in the early 1980s, Xiaoxiang's scenery was also cordial and touching. In addition to painting huge engineering objects of ancient ruins, he is also good at still life. The flowers, chickens, horses, cows and sheep in front of him take you into a world full of brave words and rivers, and make people's hearts clear. It covers a wide range, which is beyond the power of most painters. Mr. Yin Baokang is straightforward and simple, so his paintings are also full of Magnolia officinalis, such as lemon coffee, which is full of fragrance. After reading his paintings, most watercolors only describe realism, do not convey feelings, imitate nature and ignore innovation, which is a great inspiration to us. Mr. Yin Baokang's watercolor art melts the essence of tradition into the innocence of art, and does not take the carving skills such as making or special effects as its function, which further develops the pure artistic mode of Li Tiefu, Guan, Zhang Chongren, Tong Qin, the predecessors of China watercolor painters in 1930s. Personal point of view
Say "Water praises China and paints the world".
I like painting since I was a child, and I prefer watercolor painting. I have been teaching watercolor painting in colleges and universities for half a century and studying watercolor painting for 60 years. Watercolor painting has always been a companion and necessity in my life. Looking back on decades of painting career, to sum up, there are several basic practices and experiences. We should be good at learning from past experience.
Any art has its own specific art form. Today's watercolor painting has experienced a long development process, which is the crystallization of countless painters' hard work and creation. If we want to use it to describe the world and express ourselves, we must be good at learning from the experience of our predecessors.
Have the spirit of being diligent in practice
Watercolor painting is a kind of foreign painting, and it is also a kind of painting with strong skills, high painting style and difficult control. To master it, use it to reflect life and describe the world, we must be diligent in practice.
We should stick to the road of realism.
For a long time, I have been following the ideological guidance of "life is the source of creation", insisting on going deep into life, exploring creative themes from real life and using various means to describe true feelings.
It is necessary to draw perfect and healthy works for people to appreciate.
Rodin's On Art pointed out: "There is only one kind of beauty, which is to declare true beauty. All along, I look at and describe objects with a rigorous, sincere and simple attitude. As long as most people find it beautiful, I will describe what I also find beautiful.
The above experience is * * * knowledge, nothing new. Here, I only combine my personal realization and communicate with my painting friends. Finally, I use "water to praise China and paint the world" to encourage you. Let's do our part for the development and prosperity of watercolor painting!
