Address: No.59 Hudong Road, Huashan District, Maanshan, Anhui. Anhui University of Technology is a multidisciplinary university with industry characteristics and industry orientation. It is a high-level characteristic university which is built in Anhui Province. We will implement the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Colleges and Universities in the Midwest" and the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education. The school's predecessor was Maanshan Iron and Steel Industry School, which was founded in 1958. 1998 was transferred to Anhui province, and the Ministry undertook the construction. In 2000, it merged with Anhui Business School and changed its name to Anhui University of Technology.
The school covers an area of 256 1.5 mu. There are two campuses, Jiashan and Xiushan, with a construction area of 877,000 square meters, a total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment of 368 million yuan, and a collection of 2.068 million paper documents. At present, there are 17 teaching colleges, 78 undergraduate majors, 13 first-class master's programs, 18 professional master's programs, 2 first-class doctoral programs, and 1 postdoctoral research mobile station. Faculty 1973, including 209 full-time senior titles, 460 associate senior titles and 508 teachers with doctoral degrees. There are 20,645 full-time undergraduates, 2,402 graduate students and 88 international students.
