The Ministry of Education requires all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities to announce the preliminary results of the national postgraduate entrance examination after February 25th.

Recently, the reporter learned from the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education that the new TOEFL online test will be held in 18 examination rooms in Chongqing, Harbin, Nanning, Shijiazhuang, Jinan, Kunming, Lanzhou, Nanchang, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Changsha, Taiyuan, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Urumqi and other places, and the test will be held on the announced test day one after another from March.

It is reported that the number of TOEFL test sites in China has increased to 48, covering 26 cities. At present, the examination registration is in progress and all the test sites are ready.

The University of Hong Kong cancelled the English entrance examination this year.

According to Wei Yonggeng, Dean of HKU, HKU will reserve 60 places this year to fully subsidize non-local students, and each person will receive a scholarship of HK$ 65,438+RMB 4,000 per year.

In addition, HKU believes that the English scores of mainland students in the college entrance examination can fully reflect their level. Therefore, HKU cancelled the English entrance examination for mainland students in Hong Kong this year to avoid overwork. However, the enrollment has remained between 250 and 300.
