Among these 6,428 freshmen, most of them are from Zijingang Campus, with 6,060 students, accounting for 94.28%. Zijingang Campus is the main campus of Zhejiang University, with perfect facilities and strong teachers, and it is one of the core areas of Zhejiang University. The rest of the students are located in Haining International Campus, with 368 students, accounting for 5.72%. Haining International Campus is an international education project of Zhejiang University, aiming at cultivating talents with international vision and cross-cultural communication ability.

It is worth mentioning that Zhejiang Xuejun Middle School is an important source of students for Zhejiang University. In the enrollment in 2023, Zhejiang University only enrolled 308 students from Zhejiang Xuejun Middle School, accounting for 9.7 1% of the total enrollment in Zhejiang Province and 4.79% of the total enrollment in China. This shows that Zhejiang Xuejun Middle School plays an important role in the enrollment of Zhejiang University.
