Why do I have to read 600 words, write 600 words and argue 600 words?
Why do I study? Some time ago, I read a news in the newspaper: when a political teacher in Hunan gave a report to students, he asked them why they were studying. The students gave various answers, but the teacher was not satisfied with the students' answers. Finally, he pointed out that the purpose of students' reading is not complicated, and everyone thinks it is difficult to answer because students think the problems under the existing education system are too complicated. He said that studying is nothing more than making big money and marrying beautiful women in the future. This answer puzzled the students present, and after being reported by the media, it also aroused widespread concern and heated discussion from all walks of life.

It seems difficult for us to answer such a question. We are all studying hard, but we really don't know why. Is it really to make big money and marry beautiful women?

I don't think so. If it is really for such a utilitarian purpose, then it is really like what Huang Jingren of A Qing Dynasty said: "Everything goes to the Three Treasures Hall". Aren't there many bosses around us who haven't read any books? This utilitarian purpose may not be the real reason for our study.

Perhaps we all have this idea in our hearts: my parents let me study in order that I can find a decent job and earn a considerable income in the future. As the saying goes, "Don't listen to things outside the window, read only sage books with all your heart", "Nobody asks for ten years, and you become famous in one fell swoop", "Make a name for yourself and protect your wife and children". For thousands of years, this has been the lifelong ideal of many poor Confucian scholars, both for relatively stable jobs and for these reasons.

"Song of the Great River" turned eastward and destroyed the poor families. Ten years of broken walls, it is difficult to reward the sea and be a hero. This is what young Zhou Enlai said in a difficult situation when he was studying for the rise of China. Maybe we're not that brave. As a philosopher said, "If you don't do useless work, where is the limit?"? "This is a kind of detachment, a kind of realm, maybe we can't reach it at present.

I remember when I was in Grade One and Grade Two, I planned not to go to school. Because I have to do my homework at school and speak in class, I have no face if I don't perform well, and my grades are almost criticized. There are many rules and strict management, not as relaxed and carefree as at home. In this way, I stayed at home for a day and had no friends to play with me. In the afternoon, my friends talked with relish about what happened at school after school. Now I'm a little anxious. I think I may have a lot of interesting things I haven't heard, and a lot of knowledge I haven't learned. Others know much more than themselves. I envy their happiness. Another afternoon, no one played with me, and my parents scolded me. I really look like a fool and I really regret it. what can I do? On the third day, encouraged by my parents, I went to school. In my eleven years of schooling, I have never asked for leave. So what motivates me to study hard? Why do I study?

I read books out of curiosity. Why do children have to study? Why can there be so many people and things I have never heard of in reading? Why do people who study say different things from us? Why do scholars especially tell stories? Why can you do a lot of things for people who haven't read books after reading them? Why do so many flowers and trees not read or know each other? Why do you write when you are reading? ..... All the questions aroused my curiosity. I really want to have these eighteen martial arts, to be able to do many things, to understand many truths and to do many great things.

I study for reading. If you don't read, you can't read. You have to read to read more. Grandpa who can't read can't read, and grandma who wears reading glasses will ask me what is written in the book. And reading is like we have a pair of eyes, the small ones can be enlarged, the confused ones can be seen clearly, and the far ones can be closer. I will always be proud that I know one more word. I can also compare with my father who knows more words and who knows more things. I can recite and spell out the map of our country. I also know that the earth is round, and I also know why the sun sets ... everything is beautiful. I grew up by reading, and I understand a lot of books, and all this is due to my reading.

I study for faith. After studying for a long time, I know more, feel more and think more. I know that our personal strength is very small, but through reading, understanding again and again, remembering again and again, accumulating again and again, and perfecting our personality again and again, we can do a lot for the society and do things that we never thought we would do. We can really leave something for the historical record and do something for the happiness of mankind. Although we may not be able to "worry about the world first and enjoy the world later" like Fan Zhongyan, we can do something within our power to do this in our lifetime. Isn't that great?

I study for pleasure. I have worked for more than ten years now, and I am still studying hard. Why do I study? Maybe you don't need a reason. Dickinson said: "No ship can lead our hearts to the ideal home like a book." Yes, I need to read. In reading, I can be happy or miserable, without worry or desire. As the saying goes: inclusive, invincible and calm. Reading is a pleasure, and reading is a pleasure. Why study? Maybe we should stop asking questions, take up our schoolbags and walk into the classroom, but start a mental journey; Maybe we should stop asking questions and pick up a new book, but start a new journey.

I only know that reading has become a part of my life and constitutes my gorgeous inner world. I read, so I think!
