Sichuan Agricultural University is the most famous institution of higher learning in western Sichuan featuring agronomy, and it is also the only 2 1 1 institution located outside Chengdu, the provincial capital.

The school is located in Ya 'an City, Sichuan Province, China, and has two campuses, Wenjiang District and Dujiangyan City.
