Logistics and supply chain management of Tianjin University is a new discipline established in 2003 on the basis of management science and engineering, industrial engineering and operation management, combined with the needs of innovative development of modern logistics and supply chain management theory and practice. The Master of Extended Data Logistics Engineering was approved by the state and was first established and enrolled in China in 2004. In 2009, we began to recruit full-time Master of Engineering (double certificate) graduates in logistics engineering. In 2005, the Master of Engineering program in the field of logistics engineering of Tianjin University became the first batch of mutual recognition programs of CILT (the first batch of mutual recognition of ***8 universities). According to the characteristics of modern logistics and supply chain management, the logistics engineering discipline of Tianjin University sets up corresponding teaching contents for logistics and supply chain management of processing and manufacturing enterprises and specialized logistics service providers.

In 20 12, the Department of Management Economics of Tianjin University and the School of Management of Purdue University jointly launched the "Global Supply Chain Management GSCM" dual master's program, aiming at cultivating the demand of highly internationalized enterprises for supply chain management practitioners, as well as academic research talents with global vision and familiarity with the' academic research paradigm' of world-class universities. 20 13 the first batch of Tianjin university-purdue university dual master's degree "global supply chain management" project has been launched, and five students have successfully applied and will study in the United States soon.
