This sleeping island has friendly people, lush interior, including Grant Goose Pond National Park, and lovely and popular white sand at Dawan Beach. Natural trails crisscross dozens of hidden bays and beaches, and Grenada has surpassed the political turmoil in the1980s. It is not necessarily suitable for serious party people, let alone those who have fun in casinos. On the contrary, it attracts tourists who like snorkeling, sailing and fishing. They do nothing but lie on the beach and bask in the sun.
"Spice Island", Grenada is an independent three-island country (the other two islands are Carriacou, the largest Grenadines and Little Martinique). Grenada has more spices per square mile than anywhere else in the world: cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa, fennel, ginger, and nutmeg, which accounts for one-third of the world's supply. "Scatter a few seeds," the locals will tell you, "and you will have an instant garden." The interior is like a jungle of palm trees, oleander, bougainvillea, purple and red hibiscus, crimson Anthurium, bananas, breadfruit, ferns and palm trees.
