At present, this discipline is undertaking 1 national high-tech research and development plan (863 plan) project, 10 national natural science foundation project and more than a dozen provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and has participated in the construction of many national and local key projects, such as subgrade engineering in expressway, urban underground space engineering, large-scale port geotechnical engineering and large-scale bridge pile foundation engineering, with an annual scientific research fund of10.00 million.
