2. The classification of psychological counselors

If you want to be a counselor, you have to take the basic knowledge and professional skills. If you want to take Grade 2 or 1, you have to write a paper and work summary. The main contents of the written test are: basic knowledge+operational skills. Basic knowledge includes basic psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology and health psychology, psychometrics, consulting psychology and so on. And operational skills include psychological diagnosis skills, psychological testing skills and psychological counseling skills.

According to the new national standard, the profession of psychological counselor is divided into three grades, namely, psychological counselor level 3, psychological counselor level 2 and psychological counselor level 1. The application level is different, and the conditions and examination contents are also different. The Ministry of Labor generally does not accept applications in the name of individuals, because the requirements for personal education and work experience are strict, but if you want to apply in the name of individuals, you must strictly follow the following application conditions.

Psychological counselor level 3 (with one of the following conditions)

1. Bachelor degree or above in psychology, education or medicine.

Two, with psychology, education, medical college degree psychological counselor three-level formal training reached the required standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.

Three, with other professional bachelor degree or above, psychological counselor three-level formal training reached the required standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.

Psychological counselor level 2 (with one of the following conditions)

1. holds doctorate degrees in psychology, education and medicine.

Two, with a master's degree in psychology, education, medicine, psychological counselor secondary formal training reached the prescribed standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion.

3. Those who have obtained the third-level professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors, engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years, reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and obtained the certificate of completion.

Four, with psychology, education, medicine, intermediate and above professional and technical professional qualifications, the psychological counselor secondary formal training to reach the required standard hours, and obtain a certificate of completion, engaged in psychological counseling for 3 years.

Psychological counselor level 1 (temporarily closed for those who meet one of the following conditions)

1. Obtained the doctor's degree in psychology, education and medicine, received the formal training of the standard hours stipulated by the psychological counselor, and obtained the certificate of completion, and has been engaged in psychological counseling for 3 years continuously.

Two, with a master's degree, obtained the second-class professional qualification certificate of psychological counselor, engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years, and obtained the certificate of completion after the first-class formal training of psychological counselor.

Three, with psychology, education, medicine, associate senior and above professional and technical professional qualifications, after the first-level formal training of psychological counselors to reach the required standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion, and engaged in psychological counseling for three years.
