Dalian Ocean University is a university jointly established by the State Oceanic Administration and the People's Government of Liaoning Province. It is the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents, and is a key university in Liaoning Province. It turned out to be one of the four fisheries universities directly under the Ministry of Agriculture.
