School of Economics and Management, Communication University of China, originated from the Management Department of Beijing Broadcasting Institute founded by 1985. In May 2002, the former Department of Management Science of Beijing Broadcasting Institute and the Department of Economic Management of Beijing East Campus of China University of Mining and Technology merged to form the School of Media Management of China Communication University. On may 20 1 1, the college was renamed as the school of economics and management. The School of Economics and Management takes "cultivating compound and innovative talents, leading the new knowledge of industrial development and serving the society" as its own responsibility, adheres to the school motto of "having both ability and political integrity, being dedicated, being knowledgeable and competing first" and keeps making progress. Based on economics and management, the college integrates multiple disciplines and features media economy and media management to cultivate senior management talents with innovative spirit and practical ability; At the same time, it is also an academic research center of media economy and media management, providing theoretical support and consulting services for governments at all levels and media enterprises and institutions. 201/students in school of economics and management 1052, including 32 doctoral students, 0/03 master students and 9 17 undergraduates. The college has 1 doctoral program: media economics, 5 master programs: media economics, management science and engineering, enterprise management, administrative management, industrial economics, 1 professional master program: art management. Undergraduate teaching is undertaken by the departments of economics, management science and engineering, business administration and public administration. There are 10 undergraduate majors, including economics (direction of media economy management), international economy and trade, international cultural trade, information management and information system, business administration, accounting, marketing, cultural industry management (direction of production management), cultural industry management (direction of cultural brokerage) and administrative management.
