The areas in Chongqing where fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited (hereinafter referred to as the no-go areas):

(1) The area within expressway (including Chongqing Ring Expressway) around Chongqing.

(2) Urban built-up areas in Beibei District, jiangjin district, Hechuan District, Yongchuan District, Nanchuan District, Qijiang District, Dazu District, Bishan District, Tongliang District, Tongnan District, Rongchang District and Wansheng Economic Development Zone. The specific scope of urban built-up areas shall be determined by the district government (Economic Development Zone Administrative Committee) and announced to the public.

(three) the governments of other counties (autonomous counties) may, according to the actual situation of their respective administrative areas, determine the areas within their respective administrative areas where fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited, and announce them to the public.

Harm of setting off fireworks and firecrackers

Fireworks and firecrackers are flammable and explosive materials with pyrotechnics as the main raw materials, which produce light, sound, color, shape, smoke and other effects after lighting.

Because fireworks and firecrackers contain gunpowder, if the discharger does not discharge or discharge prohibited products in accordance with relevant regulations, it may lead to safety accidents.

Fireworks are products that can form colors, patterns, sound effects and visual effects when they are set off. Firecrackers are products that explode when the main body is set off, which can produce sonic boom, flash and other effects, mainly auditory effects.
