Guizhou University, referred to as "Da Gui", is located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. It is also a national key construction university of "world-class discipline construction university", "2 1 1 project" and "one province, one school".

The school covers an area of 46.376 1 mu, and there are 9.8537 mu of teaching experimental farms. The library has a total of 3.758 million books and 3.6692 million electronic books. The school has a complete range of disciplines, covering literature, history, philosophy, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, management, law, teaching and art 12.
