It is suggested that Wuhan University of Technology should form a discipline and specialty system with engineering as the main subject, science, engineering, economics, management, art, literature and law infiltrating and developing harmoniously. This year, the enrollment scale of Wuhan University of Technology has increased slightly. Wuhan University of Technology is the first school in Wuhan to adopt the credit system for management and teaching. After the implementation of the credit system, students can choose courses and teach independently, and some students can graduate ahead of schedule, which lays the foundation for the individualized growth and cultivation of students.

The first is the cooperation between science and education. Chen Zongji's geotechnical courses, physics and other experimental classes were jointly held with Wuhan Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The key laboratories and scientific research bases of our school are also open to undergraduates.

The second is school-enterprise cooperation. Wuhan University of Technology has 28 pilot majors of excellent engineer education and training program, which is the first pilot major in China. Taking this as an opportunity, we cooperated with enterprises in depth and established 459 joint talent training bases with relevant enterprises and institutions, research institutes and government agencies. There are 13 national engineering experimental education centers and 7 provincial practical training bases.
