Analysis of Contemporary College Students' Ideological and Moral Problems and Countermeasures

In recent years, the ideological and moral problems of college students have become the focus of attention from all walks of life, and with the intervention of the media, this phenomenon has aroused widespread concern. Undoubtedly, as the pride of society and the elite of the times, the mainstream of contemporary college students' moral development is positive. However, for college students, as a special group, there are also some problems that can't be ignored in their moral situation, and there is a trend of ideological and moral decline of college students, which deserves serious treatment by the whole society. In fact, the growth process of college students, especially the cultivation of ideological and moral quality, requires both subjective efforts and the cooperation of various objective conditions.

In recent years, a large number of media reports and various surveys on college students' ideological and moral problems have been filled with people's vision. In fact, looking at all these reports and surveys, we can summarize the ideological and moral problems of contemporary college students as follows:

First, the integrity of contemporary college students is reduced. Speaking of honesty, this is a topic from ancient times to the present. Honesty is usually regarded as a person's most basic moral quality. This was the case in the past, now and in the future. Therefore, in the face of honesty, no one has any choice but to accept it, let alone the elite of our time. However, in today's university campus, honesty is really in a very delicate position, that is, it is regarded as sacred and may be abandoned at the same time. Cheating in exams is a good testimony to the decline of contemporary college students' honesty. Whether it is the national examination or the school graduation examination, there is cheating, because the test results are related to their own vital interests. For the immediate benefit, honesty was quietly abandoned in a dark corner by the elite of the times.

Second, contemporary college students' moral goals are self-oriented, standards are diversified, orientation is utilitarian, and behavior is vulgar. The moral orientation of college students affects their own development, and it can also be said that it affects the development of the whole future society to a certain extent. Therefore, the moral orientation standard of contemporary college students should conform to their own healthy growth and be conducive to the benign development of society. However, in recent years, college students' moral orientation has constantly appeared such a pattern, which has moved towards self-targeting, standard diversification, utilitarian orientation and vulgarization of behavior. Modern college students have the duality of moral concept and moral behavior, and many college students' moral behavior has been vulgarized, which really worries the whole society.

Third, the atmosphere of respecting teachers and attaching importance to teaching on university campuses is gradually fading away. Strictly speaking, respecting teachers is the most important thing for students and must be strictly observed. Although today's efficient campus is still as full of vigor and vitality as before, the atmosphere of respecting teachers and attaching importance to teaching is slowly fading away unconsciously. In recent years, media reports have also talked a lot about respecting teachers on campus. A survey shows that quite a few college students don't even know the name of the teacher, and some students even look down on the teacher, let alone respect the teacher, which is worth thinking about, because disrespect is unfilial.

Fourth, in terms of ideals and beliefs, the goal is unclear and there is a lack of social responsibility. What's more, they are often empty-minded, parrot-learned, cynical, and dance academy. In their attitude towards life, they envy or pursue the western way of life, and even worship foreign things and obsess over foreigners, being extravagant and wasteful, having low tastes and pursuing pleasure. There are many kinds of material life and great temptations, but there are a large number of such young people among contemporary college students, which is really intriguing.

The ideological and moral problem of college students is a very important social problem at present, but when we see the problem, we should abandon the view that individual college students' moral anomie should not be regarded as a moral problem of college students; But at the same time, it should not be taken lightly or ignored. The society must put forward the best countermeasures on the basis of analyzing the reasons in order to solve this social problem well.

According to my own views on this issue, I can put forward the following countermeasures to solve the ideological and moral problems of college students:

First of all, contemporary college students must re-establish correct values and moral orientation. This is a subjective process for college students, which requires strengthening the campus moral education system for college students. Put college students' ideological and moral education in an important position, attach importance to moral education assessment, and carry out various forms of group activities to cultivate college students' moral orientation.

Second, I hope that society, schools and families will work together to create a good atmosphere for moral cultivation. Because the ideological and moral orientation of college students has a great relationship with the whole social relationship, the social environment changes dramatically and the core values are vague, which brings ideological and moral confusion and makes the moral orientation of college students deviate, so it is necessary to create a good social and moral environment for contemporary college students.

Third, let college students establish correct life values and cultivate good living habits. Combined with some incorrect attitudes towards life of college students, in the process of ideological and moral education, it will change their outlook on life and improve their own ideological and moral quality to some extent if they are really allowed to establish correct life values and cultivate good living habits.

Because I don't know much about the ideological and moral problems of contemporary college students, I just put forward my own immature views, that's all.

Therefore, we should attach importance to college students' science and technology education and advocate campus intellectual resources. Similarly, we should also attach importance to the humanistic quality education of college students and carry forward humanistic values. Young college students are the future of the whole society and shoulder the heavy responsibility of inheriting and creating a new era of Chinese civilization. Therefore, we must attach importance to the ideological and moral construction of college students, because human beings need to use science and technology to create material civilization, but human beings need to use humanistic spirit to guide the direction of progress.
