Finding a sense of belonging often means that a person is accepted by others in an environment or place and feels the comfort and warmth of his heart after being recognized. When I was in college, I didn't feel a sense of belonging, often because I didn't have like-minded friends and lacked happiness in getting along with others, so I felt a sense of loneliness. It is also possible that there are no favorite courses or fields of interest in the university, and life feels monotonous.
In order to change the status quo, one of the simplest and most effective ways is to get in touch with others in college. Our friends in college are not limited to a dormitory, but often arranged by the school. We should establish friends on our own initiative. So in college, you can take an active part in some activities, or some clubs, so as to meet more people, and then find friends who have topics with you and treat things together. Only by active communication can we find our favorite friends and make ourselves feel comfortable.
Enrich your life, and don't live in dormitory, canteen and classroom forever in college. I also want to join a club and then go to some activities. From these societies, we may find fields and projects that we like or are interested in, so as to conduct in-depth research and add some interest to our lives. Moreover, taking an active part in various activities is also beneficial for us to accumulate experience, enrich ourselves and avoid inner emptiness and loneliness.
Therefore, if you want to have your own sense of belonging in college, you should take the initiative instead of begging others to help us. To find friends, to participate in activities, to explore their own fields. Constantly enrich yourself, enrich your life and study, let yourself find a sense of fulfillment and find fun in life and communication.
