Ohio State University (OSU) was founded in 1870, located in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Its business school is one of the founding members of 19 16 AACSB; Medical college ranks in the top 30 in the United States, and American News ranks it as the 16 th public university in the United States.

The mascot of the university is called "brutus", which is a cartoon image like acorn.

The military band of the university is one of its traditions and the largest brass band in the world.
