First, archaeology major.
Taking physical objects as the research object, we mainly study material remains/relics and relics, including all kinds of materials left over from the past culture, and train students to master the basic knowledge and methods of history, archaeology and museum science, as well as the related knowledge of cultural relics, history and anthropology, and master the most basic identification and protection skills of jade and other cultural relics.
Second, classification
1. Prehistoric archaeology: mainly studies the Paleolithic Age and Neolithic Age, relying on natural science and technology such as physics and chemistry, and closely related to geology, paleontology, paleoanthropology and ethnology.
2. Historical archaeology: mainly studies the Bronze Age, relying on literature records and almanac research, which is closely related to ancient philology, inscriptions, ancient coins and ancient buildings.
