What are the sports schools?
Sports schools include Beijing Sport University, Shanghai Sport University and East China Normal University.

I. Beijing Sport University

Beijing Sport University was founded in 1953, formerly known as the Central Institute of Physical Education. 1956 was renamed Beijing Sport University, and 1993 was renamed Beijing Sport University. It is a national key university, a national key construction university under "2 1 1 Project", and the first batch of "double first-class" construction universities in China.

Based on undergraduate education and focusing on postgraduate education, the school is one of the first doctoral degree awarding units in China's sports colleges. There are 39 undergraduate majors in physical education and sports training, including 4 national first-class undergraduate majors/kloc-0 and 8 provincial first-class undergraduate majors.

Second, Shanghai Sport University.

Shanghai Sport University was founded in 1952, formerly known as East China Institute of Sport, and 1956 was renamed Shanghai Institute of Sport. It is the earliest sports institution of higher learning in New China. The school was originally a university directly under the State Sports Commission. Since 200 1 was established by the State Sports General Administration and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Since 20 17, it has been selected as a national "double first-class" and high-level local university construction sequence in Shanghai.

In June 2023, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was renamed Shanghai Sport University.

It has a doctoral degree authorization point for the first-class discipline of physical education, all doctoral degree authorization points for two disciplines: sports humanities and sociology, sports human science, national traditional sports, sports education and training, and five doctoral programs for two disciplines: sports management, sports engineering, sports rehabilitation, anti-doping and sports communication.

Third, East China Normal University

East China Normal University is a comprehensive research university sponsored by the state, headed by the Ministry of Education, and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.

The school was founded in June 195 1 month 1 6, and was transferred to some colleges and departments of universities such as Daxia University (1924) and Guanghua University (1925). 1959 school was identified by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as one of the national 16 key institutions.

198 1 was approved to set up the earliest master's degree program in physical education in China-master's degree program in sports theory, 1986, the first master's degree program in sports biochemistry in China, 1993.

1998 The Department of Physical Education of East China Normal University merged with the Department of Physical Education of the University, the Department of Physical Education of Shanghai Education College and the Department of Physical Education of Shanghai Second Education College. In April of 200 1 year, the Institute of Physical Education and Health was established. The college has sports department, social sports department, sports training department and university sports department.

At present, there are three undergraduate majors and master's and doctoral programs in the first-level discipline of physical education, which have the right to award master's degrees in pedagogy (physical education) and physical education, and undertake the first batch of training tasks of "Tai Ji Chuan and traditional physical education teaching" by the Ministry of Education. There are 436 undergraduates, full-time postgraduates 172 and 93 doctoral students.
