Yanbian University is located in Yanji, the capital of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, which enjoys the reputation of "hometown of education". It is the key construction university of the national "2 1 1 project", the key construction university of the western development, the people's government of Jilin Province and the Ministry of Education. Yanbian University, founded in 1949, is one of the earliest universities established by the Chinese Production Party in minority areas.

Yanbian University has a complete range of disciplines, including 12 except military science. The school has 2/kloc-0 colleges and 74 undergraduate majors; 6 first-class doctoral degree authorized disciplines and 3 second-class doctoral degree authorized disciplines; 24 first-class master's degree authorized disciplines, 10 second-class master's degree authorized disciplines; 13 professional master's degree authorization points and 4 postdoctoral scientific research mobile (work) stations; 1 national key disciplines, four "top priority" first-level disciplines in colleges and universities in Jilin Province, 12 provincial key construction dominant and characteristic disciplines.

② Heilongjiang Province. Major in fine arts (painting, fine arts), design (product design, costume design, environmental design, visual communication design), musicology and dance performance (China dance).

③ Liaoning Province. Musicology, Music Performance, Dance Performance (China Dance), Performance Major.

④ Shandong Province. Major in fine arts (painting, fine arts), design (product design, costume design, environmental design, visual communication design), musicology, music performance and dance performance (China Dance).

(5) Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Major in fine arts (painting, fine arts) and design (product design, clothing design, environmental design, visual communication design).

(6) The final enrollment major shall be based on the "2023 General College Admissions Guide" printed by the provincial education examination institutes.
