Our understanding is that this is the first humanistic quality education course for liberal arts and science students to strengthen their mother tongue after entering the university. As soon as they enter the university, they should understand that a college student is not just a simple question of entering a door and leaving a door, but an essential leap, first of all, a leap in humanistic cultivation. From then on, they should make themselves literate China people who consciously study, appreciate, experience and pursue the splendid culture of the motherland. Conscious-different from being forced and educated-different from mastering a little knowledge, China people forget their roots and are more interested in English than Chinese. English pursues CET-4 and CET-6, while Chinese only needs four or six points. College Chinese is the first class in college. It should be the starting point of advanced mother tongue education and humanistic quality education in universities, and it must be a bright spot completely different from middle school Chinese.
First, to give students the feeling of being thoroughly remoulded, the materials should be excellent and the viewpoints should be rigorous. In other words, don't underestimate the level of students and don't repeat things with middle schools. Seek depth, but don't be mysterious; Try to be simple, but don't be superficial and monotonous.
Second, advanced Chinese is not a patchwork course of Chinese Department. When teachers give full play to their professional expertise, they should diversify their contents, go beyond the narrow professional perspective, avoid the unique academic topics in the professional field, and put the extensive humanity first.
Third, use new knowledge to inspire thinking, grasp the core issues that students are interested in, and conduct oral and written discussions, so as to turn the practice of oral debate, summary, evaluation and expression of feelings into the needs of students' expression, and completely change the passive mode of setting up a good framework and proposition composition in middle school, so that students do not feel uncomfortable, like writing and are used to writing.
Fourth, advanced Chinese is the broad road for Chinese majors to all majors in the school. Let all liberal arts majors know about Chinese major-a fertile ground for China people to enter. No matter what major you study, you will never be indifferent and ignorant of Chinese. Some outstanding talents who have a deeper understanding of Chinese will proudly become students of our major.
