Lanzhou University
Lanzhou University, founded in 1909, is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), directly managed by the central government and compiled by the deputy ministerial level. It is a university built by "World-class University", "Double-class University", "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project".
The school has been selected into the Everest Plan, the 20 1 1 Plan, the excellent legal talents education and training plan, the excellent doctor education and training plan, the excellent agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan, the national college students' innovation experiment plan, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, the national postgraduate plan to build a high-level university, and the new engineering research and practice project.
Lanzhou University, formerly known as Gansu University of Political Science and Law, is the first institution of higher learning with modern significance in northwest China. 1928 was expanded to Lanzhou Sun Yat-sen University, and 1946 was renamed National Lanzhou University. 198 1 year, approved by the State Council, Lanzhou University became the first batch of universities in China with the right to award bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. In 2002 and 2004, Gansu Grassland Ecology Institute merged with Lanzhou Medical College and returned to Lanzhou University successively.
