Two. Shaanxi National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1958. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, and it is also a construction institution for 44 national defense science, technology and industry supporting projects during the First Five-Year Plan period. The College has successively been affiliated to the Third and Fifth Ministry of Machinery Industry of China, China Ordnance Industry Department and China Ordnance Industry Corporation, and it is the key supporting unit of the State Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. 1999 was placed under the management of Shaanxi province, and was upgraded to a full-time general higher vocational college in 200 1 year.
