Beijing Technology and Business University (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Technology and Business University) was formed by the merger of Beijing Institute of Light Industry, Beijing Business School and Machinery Industry Management Cadre College in June 1999.
The school covers an area of 820,000 square meters (1 230.6 mu), including 2 1 000 square meters in Fucheng Road Campus and 6 1 000 square meters in Liangxiang Campus. The total construction area is 456,800 square meters, of which Fucheng Road Campus198,800 square meters and Liangxiang Campus is 258,000 square meters. The total value of fixed assets is 2.853 billion yuan. The total building area of the library is 25793 1 m2. Up to now, there are 654,380+0.782 million paper documents, 904 Chinese and foreign periodicals, 65 newspapers, 654,380 e-books and 654,380+0.007 databases.
Beijing Technology and Business University, which is characterized by business, light industry and food, is one of the earliest financial institutions in China to recruit students majoring in accounting and certified public accountants. He is also the initiator of the National Regional Financial Forum and the director of the China Financial Annual Meeting.
The specialty of food science and engineering has successively passed IFT international certification and IUFoST (International Federation of Food Science and Technology) international certification, becoming the first university in China to obtain IFT and IUFoST certification at the same time, which indicates that the education and personnel training of food science and engineering have reached the international first-class level.
20 19 June, the school agricultural science 1% entered the top of ESI ranking in the world 1%. It has 1 national engineering laboratories, 2 national testing centers, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration centers, 2 national virtual simulation experimental teaching centers, and 1 China-Canada joint laboratories of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
