1. Registration conditions

Graduates under the age of 30 who have graduated from full-time colleges and universities with college education or above can apply for the exam, with emphasis on undergraduate and graduate students who graduated this year, graduated 1 to 2 years. In principle, it is party member in China (including preparing for party member), and outstanding league cadres and outstanding student cadres in China who are not from party member can also apply for the exam.

2. Selection and employment

The macro guidance for selecting and transferring college graduates to serve in villages is led by the Central Organization Department and implemented by the Central Agricultural Office, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Forestry Administration, the the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. The employment work in various places is organized by the personnel departments of the party committees and governments of the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).

The selection and appointment work adheres to the principles of openness, equality, competition, merit-based and having both ability and political integrity, and is generally carried out through procedures such as individual registration, qualification examination, organization inspection, physical examination, publicity, employment decision and training. All localities will publish employment conditions, employment methods, employment procedures and employment results in a timely manner and accept public supervision. Whether to organize the unified examination is determined by all localities according to the application situation and the needs of serving in the village.
