Baoding University of Technology is a full-time private, non-profit and applied ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education. In April, 2023, the official website of the school showed that the campus occupied an area of 1 14 12000 square meters, with a total construction area of 534,000 square meters. There are 7 secondary teaching units and 42 undergraduate majors.

Baoding College is a full-time public undergraduate college approved by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education. It is a "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" pilot college for integration of production and education, a pilot college for standardization of applied undergraduate education, a demonstration school for party building in colleges and universities in Hebei Province, and a demonstration university for transformation and development in Hebei Province.
