The school's predecessor was Qiushi College, which was founded in 1897. It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by China people themselves. 1928 was named National Zhejiang University. 1937 Zhejiang university moved westward to run schools in Zunyi and Meitan, Guizhou, and 1946 moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn. From 65438 to 0952, some departments of Zhejiang University were placed under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other universities, and the main part was reorganized into several universities in Hangzhou, which later developed into the original Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University.

2. West Lake University

The predecessor of West Lake University is Zhejiang West Lake Institute of Advanced Studies (established on 20 16), which was founded by scientists such as Professor Shi Yigong, Vice President of Tsinghua University, Professor Chen Shiyi, President of South University of Science and Technology, Professor Pan Jianwei, Executive Vice President of Chinese University of Science and Technology, and Professor Rao Yi, President of Capital Medical University. On February 2018 14, the Ministry of Education officially approved the establishment of West Lake University in Zhejiang Province. Yang Zhenning is the honorary chairman of the board of trustees of West Lake University, Professor Qian Yingyi is the chairman of the board of trustees, and Professor Shi Yigong is the first president of West Lake University.

3. Hangzhou Dianzi University

The school was founded in 1956, formerly known as Hangzhou Aviation Industry Finance and Economics School. After Hangzhou Aviation Industry School, Zhejiang Electric Machinery Institute, Zhejiang Machinery Industry School, Hangzhou Radio Industry Management School, Hangzhou Radio Industry School and other periods, it was approved by the State Council in 1980 and was transformed into Hangzhou Institute of Electronic Industry, which successively belonged to the central ministries and commissions such as the Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Ministry of Electronic Industry and the Ministry of Information Industry. In 2003, the original Hangzhou Publishing School was integrated.

4. Zhejiang Sci-Tech University

The history of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University can be traced back to 1897. Qi Lin, the magistrate of Hangzhou, founded Zhejiang Silkworm College, which is one of the earliest new educational institutions in China. 1908 was upgraded to Zhejiang higher sericulture school with the approval of the Qing government. From the Revolution of 1911 to the eve of liberation, the school changed its name several times and insisted on running the school.

Undergraduate enrollment 1959, Zhejiang Silk Vocational and Technical College 1964 was named by the State Council, master enrollment 1979, master's degree awarded 1983. 1999, approved by the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Zhejiang Institute of Engineering. In 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. In 2006, he was awarded a doctorate.

5. Zhejiang University of Technology

The school was founded in 1953, and its predecessor can be traced back to Zhejiang secondary technical school founded by 19 10. It has experienced the development stages of Hangzhou School of Chemical Technology, Zhejiang Institute of Chemical Technology, Zhejiang Institute of Chemical Technology, Zhejiang Institute of Technology and Zhejiang University of Technology. 1994, 1999, 200 1, Zhejiang Economic Management Cadre College, Hangzhou Shipbuilding Industry School and Zhejiang Building Materials Industry School were merged into Zhejiang University of Technology.
