The north campus of the university cluster consists of Guizhou University and guizhou minzu university. Located in Dangwu Town, Gui 'an New District, the South Zone consists of Guizhou Normal University, guizhou minzu university, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, Guizhou Medical University, Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guizhou Light Industry Vocational College, Guizhou City Vocational College, guizhou minzu university College of Humanities and Science, Guizhou Institute of Technology, Mingde College of Guizhou University, Guizhou University College of Science and Technology, Guizhou Police College and other 12 universities. The southern district is commonly known as "Huaxi University Town".
