Characteristics of Tokushima University
The basic idea of the school is to respect students' individuality, cultivate skilled and enterprising talents, and combine them with the track of internationalization.

Tokushima University is a better school of engineering.

The predecessor of engineering is Tokushima Higher Technical School, which is the only higher technical school in the four countries and was established in 1922. Was admitted to the Faculty of Engineering of Tokushima University 1949. Later, with the continuous development of Japanese economy, technical personnel were trained and expanded to the scale and field of academic departments today.

At present, the engineering department consists of 7 disciplines and 1 center, covering a wide range of technical and scientific fields, as shown on the next page. Subjects other than optical application engineering include daytime classes and evening classes.

Night school is an opportunity for people who work in enterprises during the day.
