Cultivation mode
1. Course study: The course study of jointly training doctoral students is conducted in unnc, and the course study is taught in English.
2. Tutor team: each doctoral student has at least two tutors from the school, two tutors can come from unnc, and one can come from the University of Nottingham, England; The third tutor selected by Ningbo Institute of Materials.
3. Scientific research platform: research platform and laboratory resources provided by Ningbo Materials, teaching platform of Chinese Academy of Sciences, accommodation conditions of Ningbo Materials Institute, etc. At the same time, ensure that the jointly trained doctoral students can enjoy the corresponding resources such as the library during their study.
Financial support
Unnc joint training of doctoral students is free of tuition for three years (36 months) (tuition is 1 10000/ year). Ningbo Institute of Materials will provide grants, accommodation allowances and other subsidies for doctoral students during their studies. The accepted doctoral students will enjoy the relevant treatment of doctoral students studying in unnc and Ningbo Materials.
The doctoral students in this project will be registered in unnc, and will be awarded the degree of Nottingham University. At present, 20 18-202 1 4 batches of joint doctoral students have been enrolled. The enrollment target of 202 1 is 10- 15, and there are some enrollment targets in the second half of 20021. The second batch (the second half of the year) of enrollment of 202 1 is in February 2022.
