The library of our school is an important position to cultivate college students' scientific research ability and expand their comprehensive quality. It is also an important place for students to study, educate and practice themselves. The self-discipline management committee of library students (referred to as "self-management committee" for short) is a student organization composed of students in school, and participates in the management, service, publicity, education and supervision of the library on behalf of students. Its purpose is to become a bridge and link between our library and readers. According to incomplete statistics, at present, more than 100 colleges and universities in China have set up library self-management committees. In our province, universities such as Xi University of Technology and northwest university of politics and law have also set up relevant organizations to participate in library management services. Therefore, it is of great significance to organize the establishment of library students' self-discipline management Committee for talent training in our school. Mainly manifested in the following points:

1. can improve the service quality of the library and build a bridge to communicate with readers.

"Self-management Committee" is a direct and rapid channel for libraries to obtain students' needs, which is helpful for libraries to improve service quality. Members of the "self-management Committee" are college students themselves, and we come from students. We know the hot spots and focuses among students best. As students, members of the self-management committee can better communicate with readers and get their opinions and help. Through the effective media and platform composed of outstanding student representatives, the library can understand the real reading needs of the majority of student readers more timely and comprehensively, so as to update relevant books at any time and provide better, faster and more thoughtful reading services. At the same time, through in-depth and harmonious communication and interaction with the library at any time, the self-management Committee can directly or indirectly convey the library's circulation, borrowing and other functions, as well as books, resources, latest periodicals and other information to students in time.

2. It can help the library teachers to manage the library and promote the construction of excellent study style in the library.

In the past, there was a crazy seat occupation in our school library, and similar incidents were reported by Huashang Daily. In order to improve the learning environment of the library, library leaders began to publicize and rectify the phenomenon of library seat occupation last semester, implemented mobile management of the library self-study area, and advocated "people follow things, do not occupy seats, do not grab seats." At the beginning of this semester, the library began to strictly prohibit seat occupation. At present, the phenomenon of library seat occupation no longer exists. But there are many other uncivilized phenomena, such as answering the phone in the study room, talking loudly, reading texts in corridors and other places with strong echoes, bringing all kinds of snacks into the study room and so on. These uncivilized phenomena are not conducive to the construction of library's study style, and it takes a lot of manpower to completely improve these uncivilized phenomena. There are not enough managers in the library, so it is necessary to attract some excellent students to participate in the management of the library. By self-management, the library can realize the self-management of student readers, which can better promote the construction of library's style of study and create a good learning environment for teachers and students.

3. Organize related activities to enhance the influence of the library in students' minds and stimulate their interest in learning and reading.

Now many college students are busy with textual research, part-time jobs and falling in love during their school days. Many students seldom go to the library. Although some students often go to the library, they all borrow novels, and they don't have much cultural restraint. This phenomenon also exists in our school. Moreover, with the popularity of electronic products, many students choose to obtain information through various electronic products. Although this way is convenient and fast, it makes reading lose its original charm. It can be said that the influence of university libraries in students' minds is not high. Self-management committee can organize relevant activities on the premise of adhering to internal principles and purposes and observing relevant regulations of the school. Publicize the library and spread the reading culture through various activities, so as to enhance the influence of the library in students' minds, stimulate students' interest in learning and reading, and encourage students to enter the library more, read more and read better books. Create a good learning atmosphere for teachers and students.

Therefore, I think it is necessary for our school to set up a self-discipline management committee for library students, so that students can participate in the management and service of the library and provide a good platform for students to exercise themselves.
