Founded in 1984 Shouguang Adult Secondary Vocational School, the school has merged Shouguang Normal School, Shouguang Normal School, Weifang Radio and TV University Shouguang Branch, Qilu Economic College and other schools. Weifang Vocational College of Science and Technology was founded on 200 1. In April 2008, it was upgraded to a full-time undergraduate college and renamed Weifang Institute of Science and Technology.
