1952 was established on the basis of the Agricultural College of Zhejiang University, formerly known as Zhejiang Agricultural College. The tea industry has three departments, including agronomy, sericulture and plant protection, and four majors, 1 specialized course. 1960 Agricultural College merged with Tianmulin College and Zhoushan Fisheries College to form Zhejiang Agricultural University. At the same time, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Forestry Research Institute, Fisheries Research Institute and Tea Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Zhejiang merged into Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and unified leadership was implemented. Since then, Tianmu Mountain College, Zhoushan Fisheries College and Tea Research Institute have been independent.

1985, the school established 12 department, 1 research institute, 10 research room, and resumed the recruitment of correspondence students. Entrusted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Zhejiang Agricultural University Branch of the Central Agricultural Management Cadre College was established to train agricultural leading cadres at or above the county level in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shanghai. There are 3245 students in school, including 272 graduate students. Faculty 1 15 1 person, including 30 professors, 73 associate professors and 3 lecturers. The school is located in Huajiachi, and the campus covers an area of 1330 mu, including 4 16 mu of farm, 0/62 mu of orchard, mulberry garden, tea garden and 0/45 mu of fish pond. In Yuhang County, there are 140 mu of tea gardens. The building area of the school building is 6.5438+0.4 million square meters. From 195 1 to 1985, there were10,017 graduates.

The school obtained more than 70 scientific research achievements during its stay in Zhejiang Agricultural College. 1978-] 1984 has 134 scientific and technological achievements, which were awarded by the national science conference and provincial and municipal awards respectively. 1954 began to accept foreign students. After 1979, there were more than 30 foreign students.

Successive presidents (from 195 1) are: Wu Zhixie (concurrently), Jin, Li (concurrently), Ding Zhenlin, Hong Tiancheng, Zhao, Lee Huan (the last three are directors of the Revolutionary Committee), Chen (concurrently), Ding Zhenlin and Zhu Zuxiang.
