Beijing Jiaotong University School of Electrical Engineering Institute of Power Electronics
Power Electronics Research Institute was established in 2004, mainly engaged in the research of power electronics and transmission, including power supply, AC drive and the application of power electronics in power system. There are 9 teachers in the institute, including 2 doctoral supervisors, 2 professors, 3 associate professors and 6 doctors. Among them are professors who have won the Zhan Tianyou Railway Prize, doctors who have returned from studying abroad for many years, and young teachers who have undertaken many scientific research projects. At present, all 39 graduate students are studied, including 9 doctoral students and 30 master students.

The Institute has actively undertaken and completed a number of scientific research projects such as the National "863" Project, the Ministry of Railways Project, the National Defense Science and Technology Project, the Delta Science and Education Fund Project, and the Horizontal Project. If the AC drive mutual feed test-bed is successfully developed in China, it can be used for the control, test and testing of high-power traction motors and other motors. The test-bed realizes energy mutual feedback, greatly reduces the test energy consumption and reaches the leading level in China. The institute has also built the largest power supply for aerospace test and the domestic advanced linear motor traction test line.

The Institute published a monograph on rail transit 1 and a textbook on power electronics 1, and published nearly 40 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals and international academic conferences.
