Bohai university, referred to as Boda for short, is located in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, and is a comprehensive university organized by the Liaoning provincial government. Its predecessor was Jinzhou Teachers College, which was formed by the merger of Jinzhou Teachers College and Liaoning Business School. In 2003, Jinzhou Teachers College was renamed bohai university. The school has three provincial key disciplines: food science and engineering, control science and engineering, and mathematics.
