Academic achievements of the School of History of Northwest University
For a long time, history teachers have undertaken research projects in teaching and scientific research, including the national social science research fund project, the Ministry of Education's "teaching content and curriculum system reform plan for 2 1 century" project, and the Ministry of Education's humanities and social sciences research project. They published a large number of monographs and papers and achieved fruitful results.

The monographs such as History of Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasties edited by Hou Wailu, New Evidence of Hanshu, New Evidence of Historical Records and Old News of National History edited by Hou Wailu are recognized as classics in academic circles. In recent years, China History (six volumes), Peng Shuzhi's General History of Middle East Countries (multiple volumes) and China's first large-scale multimedia general history edited by Chen Feng, Fu and others have been successively established by the Ministry of Education as "curriculum materials for colleges and universities facing 2 1 century".

There are 1 National Excellent Course (China Thought and Culture), 2 Shaanxi Excellent Courses (General History of China, Cultural History of Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties), 1 Northwest University Excellent Course (Historical Geography of China).

Monographs and textbooks have also won the honorary prize of Guo Moruo's history, the first and second prizes of humanities and social sciences achievements of the State Education Commission, the first and second prizes of humanities and social sciences achievements of Shaanxi Province, the first and second prizes of national outstanding teaching achievements and the special prize of outstanding teaching achievements of Shaanxi Province. He has published hundreds of papers and academic monographs 100 in authoritative core journals at home and abroad, such as Historical Studies, China Historical Studies and Ethnic Studies.
