There is one college student for every five people on average. Are you or your children college students?
A common remark that can be seen on the internet now is that college students are everywhere, and there may be one college student in every five people. This statement may be exaggerated, but it also reflects the increasing popularity of higher education in China. More and more China students can go to college. I am also a college student, so I can talk about universities and college students from my own perspective.

In fact, when it comes to college students, it generally refers to undergraduates, but in fact, I think college students also include junior college students. I was born in the countryside, and my hometown is at a medium level of development, which is not too developed or very backward. In fact, from elementary school to junior high school and then to high school to take the college entrance examination. In the end, there are not many students who can successfully enter one or even two books.

Primary school and junior high school are compulsory education in China, so we regard junior high school as a node. At this fork in the road, there are about 150 people in our grade. In fact, only 40 to 50 students have successfully entered ordinary high schools, accounting for only about one third. The remaining students seldom find jobs because they are still young. So the rest of the students choose vocational and technical schools to learn cooking, kindergarten teachers, nurses, sailors and so on. This is the first wave of shunt. Finally, after three years of study, some students who entered technical secondary schools chose direct employment, while others chose junior college, which is a source of college students. After I entered high school, I attended the school with the highest enrollment rate in our school. Studied hard for three years, and ushered in the college entrance examination, another crossroads in life. At this time, the students in our grade have continued to be diverted. According to the school report, our enrollment rate is basically 60% to 70%, and the rest of the students basically choose World War II or junior college.

In this way, different students choose different schools. From these circumstances, our education level is improving. From our parents' generation, we know that few people in their class were admitted to universities at that time, even few high school students. Compared with them, there are indeed many college students nowadays. Moreover, the economic development also enables local governments to establish their own local institutions of higher learning, which also provides more institutional resources, and high school students have more opportunities to go to universities.

Many people think that there are too many college students now and they are worthless. This statement should be inappropriate. Even if the education is more developed, the undergraduate rate has not reached a high level. Senior three students still have to work hard to get into college by themselves. Moreover, it has been about seven years since high school and even junior high school. Students who choose secondary vocational and technical schools or direct employment did not say that life was hopeless, but found their own world.

Therefore, college students are not life-saving symbols, and college education is not a cornucopia. Anyone who wants to find his own life value successfully must have his own plan and know his own goals. Even if you go to college, you can't think that after three years of suffering, you can finally indulge yourself. This is absolutely impossible. Universities still need to study, learn professional technical knowledge and improve their ability to deal with people. Look up to the excellent people and set an example for yourself, just as the monitor said in Soldier Assault: Don't dawdle, or you will be mixed up.
