In the planning stage. Dancheng is a newly established county after the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC). The university town belongs to the planning stage and has not yet been developed. It is located in the east of Henan Province, bordering Luyi County in the north, Huaiyang County in the west, shenqiu county in the south, and jieshou city, Taihe County and Bozhou City in the southeast and east respectively.
