Yang Shubiao, 1938 65438+ 10/6, was born in a worker's family in Tuditang Lane, Wenzhou City. Graduated from Sanxi Primary School, 1950 was admitted to Jianhua Middle School (now experimental middle school), 1953 was admitted to provincial Chuzhou Normal School (now lishui university), 1956 was admitted to Zhejiang Normal University (predecessor of Hangzhou University), and 1960 was admitted to Hangzhou University. 1960 to 1962, went to the Institute of Modern History of China Academy of Sciences for further study, and participated in the compilation of General History of China hosted by Tian Jiaying and Biography of Chiang Kai-shek hosted by He Ganzhi. He used to be assistant to the president of Hangzhou University, deputy director of the school affairs committee and head of the history department. Before retiring in 2003, he was the director of the history department of Zhejiang University, the deputy director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Research Center, the director of the Hong Kong and Macao Research Institute, a professor and a doctoral supervisor. Social part-time jobs include member of the First Teaching Steering Committee of the State Education Commission, vice-president of Zhejiang Archives Society, vice-president of Contemporary History Society, vice-president of Taiwan Province Research Society, and director of the National Taiwan Province Research Society.
