Introduction to Southeast University:
By March 2022, the school has five campuses, including Nanjing Sipailou Campus, Jiulong Lake Campus, Dingjiaqiao Campus, Wuxi Campus and Suzhou Campus, covering an area of 5,888 mu and a construction area of about 789,700 square meters. The school has 12 countries, and the construction discipline; 3 state key laboratories and 1 national engineering research center; 35 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 5 majors were selected as national comprehensive reform pilots, and 23 majors were selected as national characteristic specialty construction sites. The school has 32 1 1 full-time teachers.
Founded in 1902 Sanjiang Normal School, the school has experienced important development periods such as Liangjiang Normal School, Nanjing Higher Normal School, National Southeast University and National Central University. During the period of 1952, the departments of colleges and universities in China were adjusted and the departments of arts and sciences moved out. The former National Central University School of Engineering was merged into Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and Jinling University, and Nanjing Institute of Technology was established in the original site of the National Central University.
